Whether you’re a “Deal or No Deal” fan or a royals fan, this prop for auction may get you excited.
Duchess Meghan‘s briefcase, which she used on the reality game show before becoming a royal, is up for sale, according to a Profiles in History’s Hollywood: A Collector’s Ransom auction release.
The price tag? The item is estimated to sell between $4,000 and $6,000.
Listed as prop #783, the 16 x 12 x 2 inch briefcase is described as “in fine condition.”
Meghan used the prop while working on the show as a briefcase model. The models would open their briefcase when a contestant selected their number in order to reveal a dollar amount.
In this briefcase, number 24, there is a cast resin block with raised numbering of “$5,000.” The auction takes place Dec. 17, 18 and 19 in Calabasas, Calif.
Other noteworthy pieces up for auction include the Theda Bara’s vulture headpiece from 1917’s “Cleopatra” ($25,000 to $35,000), an Oscar Award trophy from 1934 ($150,000 to $250,000) and two of Judy Garland’s costumes from “The Wizard of Oz” ($60,000 to $150,000).
The former actress starred on the show from 2006 to 2007. In 2018, she married Britain’s Prince Harry. They now share a child together, son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Meghan was best known for her role as Rachel Zane on the show “Suits,” from 2011 to 2018.
