In the middle of Travis Kelce’s Wednesday, August 28, podcast episode, fans believe that they heard a subtle “meow” in the background. In the episode, Travis, 34, and brother Jason Kelce discussed their offseason experiences, with Jason, 36, marveling over traveling to Paris with wife Kylie Kelce to watch the 2024 Olympics.

In between their chat, it appears as if a cat was purring in the background. The Kelce brothers did not discuss the supposed noise during the episode, remaining focused on their conversation.

“Not the ‘MEOW’ in the background. Travis letting one of the cats have its podcast debut,” one fan pointed out via X, while another noted that the supposed cat sound occurs around the 27-minute timestamp.

“There’s a CAT meowing! Jason does not have a cat,” the social media user wrote.

Neither Jason nor Travis own cats — only dogs. (Kylie, 32, previously tried to persuade her husband to adopt a feline during a December 2023 episode of the podcast.) Travis’ girlfriend of one year, Swift, is, however, a proud cat owner.

Neither Swift nor Travis have confirmed whether their pets have met, though Swifties speculated that the NFL star might have filmed previous podcast episodes at her home. During a May episode of “New Heights,” fans wondered if Travis was even petting a cat off-camera.

The couple, who started dating in summer 2023, spend as much time as possible together in between their respective work commitments. Swift recently returned to the United States from the international run of her Eras Tour. She and Travis reunited at her Watch Hill, Rhode Island mansion for a star-studded party with Jason, Kylie, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid.

“They are part of a fantasy league and I would like to join,” O’Connell told Romijn over the phone. “It is going to cost 1/10 of repairing our driveway.”

Romijn let out a laugh at O’Connell’s suggestion. “Jer, you’ve never won in fantasy football,” she said, while O’Connell proudly noted that he previously earned second place.

“I was a 10-year-old fatherless, hyperactive child, so I probably felt like a tick for David,” Jackson told Us of working with Hasselhoff, who played the iconic lifeguard Mitch Buchannon. “You know, he had beautiful chicks clamoring after him, and he’s signing autographs, and he’s the big man on campus, and I’m like, tugging on his coattails, like, ‘Hey, do you want to play? Do you want to surf? Can I eat lunch in your trailer?’ [He was probably like] ‘Gosh, this kid. I’m like a 30-year-old guy trying to be a superstar,’ so I probably drove him nuts.”

Despite their early differences, Jackson said Hasselhoff, 72, became “like a big brother to me” over time. “[There were] lots of practical jokes, lots of play, lots of fun. But he really reached out, extended a hand, you know, going over to his house and hanging out with him and stuff like that. And now later, it’s beautiful,” he shared. “We’re both sober for some years, and we exchange daily readings and supportive text messages and stuff like that.”

Jackson is one of many cast members opening up about the highs and lows of their Baywatch experience in the new Hulu docuseries After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun.

It fell together in a way that was better than really anybody could have planned.”

He added: “I mean, from all the at-home footage that we collected. Thanks to the time we actually had, it became a real project piece, thanks to that time.”

Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega are twinning and winning.

Ryder, 52, and Ortega, 21, coordinated their outfits while slaying at the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere during the Venice International Film Festival in Italy on Wednesday, August 28. For the event, Ryder, who plays Ortega’s onscreen mom in the movie, Lydia Deetz, rocked a Chanel haute couture cropped black blazer, a matching vest and a pleated white dress shirt. She teamed her top with a black silky bow tie and a pleated floor-length skirt.

For glam, she donned black eyeliner, long lashes, filled-in eyebrows and pale pink lips. Her brunette hair was styled in an updo with her bangs cascading over her forehead.

Ortega, who plays Astrid Deetz in the horror/comedy, opted for a cherry red custom Christian Dior getup that included a ruffled top equipped with nude straps, an open back and V-neck and a pleated tulle floor-length skirt. She elevated the look with silver jewelry.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that Ortega’s look was reminiscent of the red gown that Lydia wore during her wedding to Beetlejuice in the original 1988 movie. (In the film, Beetlejuice tricked Lydia into marrying him so he would be able to roam free in the living world.)

Her dress featured a similar style ruffled top and a massive A-line skirt. At the time, Ryder’s hair was styled in spikey bangs. She completed her get-up with a red veil and burgundy eyeshadow.

This isn’t the first of Lydia’s outfits that Ortega has recreated during the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice press tour. Earlier this month, she rocked a Thom Browne ensemble nearly identical to one of Ryder’s costumes in Beetlejuice.

Jason Kelce can’t wait to introduce his three daughters to Adam Sandler’s movies, a fact that he couldn’t resist telling the actor.

Jason, 36, and brother Travis Kelce interviewed Sandler, 57, on the Wednesday, August 28, episode of their joint “New Heights” podcast, in which Jason couldn’t resist asking for parenting tips from Sandler. (Sandler and wife Jackie, 49, share daughters Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 15.)

“I’m a girl dad and] my oldest is 4, so I got a ways to go, [but] do you have any advice and when should I — they’ve seen some of your stuff — really start exposing them to the Sandman?” Jason asked.

Sandler pointed out that there’s “no rush” to letting the Kelce kids watch certain films.

“At that age, there’s no rush to get to me,” Sandler quipped. “I got some animated movies that I feel comfortable telling somebody, ‘Hey, maybe you can watch Hotel Transylvania or Leo or something like that?’ You’ll feel alright there.”

However, sometimes 3-year-olds “come up to” the actor and quote lines from 1995’s Billy Madison.

“They do say, ‘Are you Billy Madison?’ I say yes and they say, ‘Why do you not look like him anymore?’” Sandler recalled. “I go, ‘Well, Billy Madison’s been f–king eating. He’s a little hungry.’”

Sandler further noted that Kelce’s daughters will eventually take an interest in the films, though Sunny and Sadie have been hesitant to see them all.

“My own kids, I don’t throw my stuff at them too quick,” he explained. “It just happens. They haven’t seen a few of the filthy ones yet, and let’s hope that they don’t need to see that.”

Sandler and his daughters, who recently shared the screen in 2023’s You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, have watched other movies together. In fact, Sandler took Sunny and Sadie to the October 2023 premiere of Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour documentary in Los Angeles.

“What a girl,” Sandler gushed. “She means so much to our house since the kids [were younger]. I think I was shooting Grown Ups or That’s My Boy in Massachusetts and we were listening to every song. It was one of the first times that you listen to every song on the record start to finish. F–king Taylor in our house, [we listened to] every tune and they knew every word. I loved listening to her in the car and I love what she had to say, every message [and] every melody.”

Jason is also a fan of Swift’s, recently attending two of her Eras Tour shows in London during her June run at Wembley Stadium. On an earlier episode of “New Heights,” Jason even admitted that he couldn’t stop crying when she gifted her “22” hat to a young fan in the audience.

The Queer Eye alum, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly that he “cannot stand all white kitchens.” Berk, who is partnering with Amazon Devices to introduce SIY, a.k.a. “Smartify It Yourself,” house techniques, dished on why that design style drives him “nuts.”

Berk explained that he gets “so frustrated” when builders and flippers especially in Los Angeles decide to keep everything so monochrome and clinical. (He also confessed that all white bathrooms are not his favorite.)

“They’re like, ‘Well, we just wanna do all white because we want it to appeal to everybody.’ But I’m like, ‘It doesn’t appeal to anybody anymore,’” Berk vented. “Stop doing it. Put a little personality in there.”

The interior designer noted, “You don’t have to go crazy with color.” Berk suggested adding earth tones on the cabinets or as a “back splash the countertop” for a simple upgrade.

If you keep an all-white space, Berk confessed, “You walk in and it doesn’t feel like a kitchen. It feels like an operating room.” He added, “I hope people read this and stop doing it.”

Although Berk has strong opinions on all white décor, he told Us that he’s “not a big fan of trends” seasonal or otherwise.

He said people should do what “makes them happy in their home and not necessarily worry about what I tell them should make them happy.”

That being said, Berk told Us he is a fan of cleaning — but not in the spring as is tradition. “One of the trends that I actually would love to get started, it’s fall cleaning instead of spring cleaning.”

Berk pointed out that spring cleaning can be problematic because “it rains” when you empty out your garage to organize. “Fall [equals] less rain. And most people are already digging in their garages starting in like October for their Halloween decor, and then in November for their Thanksgiving décor,” he explained. “So you’re already in your garage, you’re already digging through things.”

The reality star added, “I think the fall is actually the best time of year to clean. I want to get people to stop doing that spring cleaning thing and focus on fall cleaning.”

As Berk heads into his favorite cleaning season, he has learned to lean into technology for assistance in his daily tasks. Through his partnership with Amazon Devices to promote SIY — which is a spin on the popular DIY trend — Berk has upgraded his home to become a smart house with Alexa and other Amazon products.

As a “big SIY fan” himself, Berk said Amazon’s products have enhanced his day to day. “I’m always looking for ways to make my life easier and more automated,” he shared. “And luckily, like literally everything in your house can be, can be smartify now.”

Berk added: “It was a natural perfect partnership because not only do I use Alexa — not just in my house, but in my car — but I use the smart bulbs. I use it with my music. I use my ring cameras, my Blink cameras. … It was a match made in heaven.”

Lindsay Arnold is shedding light on her future within the Dancing With the Stars franchise.

Arnold, 30, revealed in a recent TikTok video that she won’t be paired up with a celebrity when the show returns for its 33rd season this fall. The ballroom pro said her potential return to DWTS is the topic fans ask about the most, especially when a new season is on the horizon.

“As many of you know, I was on Dancing With the Stars for close to 10 years,” she began. “I stepped away from the show two seasons ago, and when I stepped away, I wasn’t like, ‘I’m done forever.’ It was just like, ‘This is what works for my life and we’ll just take it one season at a time.'”

Arnold acknowledged that she “never said” she wouldn’t go back for another season, so she understands why fans are so curious. She further noted that the addition of her sister Rylee Arnold as a pro during season 32 puts even more of a spotlight on her own decision to return.

Every 'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Through the Years: Where Are They Now?

“That question — ‘Are you going back to Dancing With the Stars?’ — is so much more complex than just, like, me deciding whether or not I wanna do it,” she explained while breaking down the “logistics” of casting. “I feel like some of you might know this, but some of you might not, that when it comes to the pros on Dancing With the Stars, you are never, ever guaranteed to be on the show. Ever.”

Lindsay said that “every single season” she competed on the show, she “had to wait” to hear about whether she’d be back in the ballroom. “Even though I was under contract, the contract doesn’t guarantee you a job every season,” she continued. “But you do need to be available to do it when you’re under contract and you can’t do other shows.”

While pros who’ve been around longer might feel “more confident” about being asked back, their futures are still up in the air. “There have been many times on the show where a very long standing pro who’s been on for a long time doesn’t get picked up … so you really, like, never know,” she said.

Had she wanted to be involved in season 33, Lindsay explained that she would’ve had to express interest to the producers before the “waiting game” really began. “It’s not as simple as just me being like, ‘I wanna be on the show!'” she added.

Living outside of Los Angeles also adds to the decision. “It’s not like I can start making preparations to move … because everything is very last-minute,” said Lindsay, who lives in Utah with her husband and two daughters.

Every 'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Who Has Left and Why

Taking all that into consideration, Lindsay told her followers that she did not end up expressing interest in returning for season 33. “No conversations have really gone on,” she added. “It’s not really something that’s been in the cards for me at this time in my life.”

After apologizing for possibly letting down some fans who hoped to see her back on their TVs, Lindsay did hint at potentially hitting the ballroom floor again someday. “Never say never,” she said. “But I will say, it’s been so fun to be able to watch and support my sister Rylee. It feels like this is just so meant to be … I just love the way things are going.”

Lindsay made her DWTS debut during season 16 in 2013. She won a mirrorball trophy with her season 25 partner, Jordan Fisher, in 2017 and last competed with Bachelor alum Matt James on season 30 in 2021.

Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars — which will feature Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik — premieres on ABC and Disney+ September 17.

“Chris and Dakota did break up [earlier this year] just before she went on her press tour for Madame Web,” a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly, noting that the period in early 2024 was “a really difficult time” for Johnson, 34. “But the space apart did them good, and when Dakota got back, they got back together.”

Johnson and Martin, 47, started dating in 2017 after meeting through a friend. In March, a second source exclusively told Us that the duo had “been engaged for a while” but were “not the type to make some huge public announcement” about it. The insider added that the actress and the Coldplay frontman were “not in a huge rush to get married and don’t have a final wedding date set just yet.”

Johnson sparked breakup rumors earlier this month after she was seen without her engagement ring while Martin toured with his band overseas. However, Johnson’s rep told Us on August 16th that the split speculation is “not true” and that the pair are “happily together.”

Danielle Collins is not interested in a farewell tour. 

The American tennis star, 30, lost in the first round of the U.S. Open on Tuesday, August 27, her final major singles appearance after announcing her retirement plans in January.

To mark the occasion, tournament director Stacey Allaster was courtside following the match with a bouquet of roses to give to Collins, meant to commemorate her final time competing in New York.

However, Collins didn’t even break her stride in leaving the court, failing to acknowledge either Allaster or the flowers. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly shortly after the match, Collins explained why.

“It’s really important to note this,” said Collins, who spoke to Us via her partnership with sunscreen brand WearSPF. “I requested before the tournament started that I not have a ceremony. I requested that multiple times. My coach requested that in writing. So I was a little bit caught off guard when that was the tact that was taken afterwards, because I specifically asked to not have that.”

She added, “I appreciate the thoughtfulness around wanting to do it. I think it all comes from a good place.”

However, Collins further insisted that the desire to shun the fanfare and attention that typically comes from a high-profile retirement is how she’s approached her entire career. 

“I think a lot of that has stemmed from feeling bad for others when they don’t get to have a similar experience,” Collins explained. “For a long time, I felt like when I had success, a lot of people weren’t always happy for me. In the beginning of my career, I was villainized a lot for my on-court demeanor and being a fiery personality. I got a lot of scrutiny because of that.”

Collins continued, “When I would receive that type of scrutiny or criticism, I would often feel really bad for the person writing it and feel guilty thinking, ‘Oh, wow, I hope I didn’t cause this person pain. I hope I didn’t trigger someone’s feelings and emotions.’ Because I know how that can feel.”

The four-time WTA champion and 2022 Australian Open finalist candidly admitted she’s often felt shame for being lauded for her ability on the tennis court, which she connected back to her childhood.

“Look, I come from a family where me and my brother were the first ones to go to college,” Collins said. “I grew up in a family that did not come from financial opportunity. My parents have been incredibly supportive and encouraging of me. But at the same time, sometimes I can also feel guilty or bad about my success. Because I know that not everybody has gotten to live the life that I had.”

With her time in the tennis sun fading — she will officially retire at the end of the 2024 season — Collins is continuing to preach the benefits of protection from its rays.
