Matt Lauer and wife Annette Roque finally move ahead with divorce

One month after Page Six exclusively revealed that Matt Lauer and estranged wife Annette Roque had hammered out a multimillion-dollar divorce settlement, they both filed divorce paperwork in court.

The case — which is uncontested, or mutually agreed upon — was filed Tuesday in state Supreme Court in Suffolk County, New York, according to state court spokesman Lucian Chalfen. Paperwork was filed by both Lauer and Roque.

It is awaiting a judge’s review.

“Upon a judge’s signature, it will be sent to the court clerk’s office to be entered,” Chalfen told us. “The process could take up to a few months.”

In June, Page Six reported that the estranged couple was close to having their divorce finalized by a judge. Roque is getting up to $20 million in the divorce and will get to keep the couple’s luxurious Hamptons horse farm. They also own a 12-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion, Strongheart Manor, in North Haven.

Lauer, 61, and Roque, 52, split up after Lauer was fired in 2017 from his longtime job on NBC’s “Today” show over allegations of sexual misconduct. They wed in 1998 and share three children: Jack, Thijs and Romy.
