Prince William has one more title he can add to his resume.

Queen Elizabeth II appointed her grandson to Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, according to a Saturday tweet from the palace. Prince William will still continue to carry out his duties as the Duke of Cambridge while serving in this new position, which has a term of one year.

According to the palace website, the person in the role is generally of Scottish descent, but members of the royal family have also served in the post. The Lord High Commissioner serves to “maintain the relationship between the State and the Church.” Prince William will also serve as Queen Elizabeth II’s representative at the General Assembly.

Prince William’s new title comes a week after the palace announced Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will drop their “royal highness” titles.

Following their bombshell announcement that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family, the Queen shared details about the couple’s future.

She expressed her support for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan and shared that they will be splitting their time between Canada and the United Kingdom and that they don’t want to rely on public funds in their new lives.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are “no longer working members of the Royal Family,” Buckingham Palace announced on Jan 18 and will be known as Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. Harry remains sixth in line to the British throne.

They will also repay the Sovereign Grant expenditure for the refurbishment of their United Kingdom home, Frogmore Cottage, which will continue to be their family home in the U.K. The home was renovated with 2.4 million pounds ($3.06 million) of taxpayers’ money, royal accounts revealed last year.
